Getting started with arbitrage: four steps

The formula is simple. The workflow takes practice: funded accounts, timely execution and accurate records. Follow four steps from setup to settlement.

Before you start

  • You must be 18 or older. This service is for adults only.
  • Check local law and each sportsbook's rules before depositing. You are responsible for complying with both.
  • Use only money you can afford to lose. Arbitrage isn't a solution to debt. Read Responsible betting.

Four steps

  1. 01

Accounts at at least two sportsbooks

You need at least two accounts because the legs use different sportsbooks. Complete identity checks early. The board includes sportsbooks such as Stake, Rainbet and Shuffle.

  2. 02

    Fund and allocate your bankroll

Both accounts need funds before an opportunity appears. Keep a reserve and plan transfers. The platform uses USD as its common reference currency.

  3. 03

    Board and alerts

Set Telegram thresholds that suit you. Check freshness, settlement warnings and stakes when an alert arrives. Skip locked opportunities.

  4. 04

    Two bets and the tracker

DUAL opens both betslips. Place the leg most likely to move first, then the other. Click “+” afterwards to save the pair to your tracker.

Think about bankroll realistically

There is no universal starting amount. Your stakes, accounts and execution frequency matter. Follow these principles:

  • Profit is a percentage of stakes. Use the arbitrage calculator to see what small percentage returns mean for your bankroll.
  • Funds stay tied up until settlement. Bets on matches several days away reduce available bankroll.
  • Balances drift. Wins accumulate at one sportsbook while stakes leave another. Plan transfers and check the tracker.
  • Keep a hedge reserve. If the other leg isn't accepted, you may need funds to hedge elsewhere. Don't use your entire balance on one arb.
  • Use practical stakes. Safe stakes can round to $5 while showing the effect on return.

What to expect in your first week

Focus on learning the workflow, not a target return:

  • Some arbs disappear before you act. Short-lived gaps are normal. Familiarity can improve execution speed.
  • Learn each betslip. Sportsbooks differ in confirmations and odds-change messages. Small stakes limit the cost of mistakes.
  • Be prepared for an open leg. If the other price moves, use Open leg to calculate your hedge options and cost.
  • Check settlement warnings. The matching-rules filter excludes flagged pairs while you learn.
  • Record every bet. Track profit, ROI and account balances to assess your actual results.

Questions

How many accounts do I need?

At least two. More accounts give you more pairs to compare and options if one account is restricted.

How much time does it take?

The engine finds opportunities. Your time goes into checking alerts, placing both bets and managing balances and records.

What currency are stakes in?

The platform uses USD as its reference currency. Stakes for a connected sportsbook account can be shown in its account currency.

Put it into practice

Your board, alerts and tracker. One subscription.

The engine searches for arbs and middles around the clock. Every opportunity shows odds freshness and settlement warnings. Betting carries a risk of losing money.
